One of the most powerful lessons about faith-fueled focus comes from Peter’s walk on water.

"Come," He said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" — Matthew 14:29-30 (NIV)

As long as Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he walked in the supernatural. He defied logic. He accomplished what was humanly impossible.

But the moment he looked at the wind and waves, fear took over, and he sank.

We often do the first part—we write the vision down—but then we forget to keep it in front of us. We get caught up in life, in responsibilities, in distractions, and we stop running toward what God has placed in our hearts.
